
REAR-FACING SEATS:
Are used from birth to 1 year old and 20lbs. It is the safest way to travel with your baby in a rear-facing seat. Use this seat position as long as possible until your child reaches the upper weight limit of your rear facing convertible seat. This upper weight limit is approximately 30 -35 pounds.
FORWARD-FACING TODDLER SEATS:
From age 1 and 20 lbs to about age 4 and 40 pounds. It is the safest way to travel with your toddler in a 5 point harness. Once the upper weight limit is reached you will then move your child to the next level of sseat.
BOOSTER SEATS:
Still in the back seat for this 4 to 8 year old age group. If child is 4'9" or taller they can go to the next position.
SAFETY BELTS:
Age 8 and older or taller that 4'9" children can use a seat belt how adults would wear one.
Please note that the back seat is the SAFEST place for all children 13 and under.
